My son has been playing U8L regularly and thoroughly enjoys it. The platform is perfect for beginners who need to get a feel of tournaments and the experience of playing with kids from other clubs, before they launch into the state/national circuit. Most of what I am going to write is already captured in the heading. If I remember it correctly, U8L journey started in 2018, may be 2019. Not sure as the time has flown past and I have become older by 3-4 years may be. Starting with its first tournament in GSC (if I recollect correctly), it has grown in its stature by bringing more and more Tennis enthusiasts together and providing them with platform to compete, make new friends, most importantly follow their passion and remain healthy. Starting with very few categories of events and few participants, I guess now there are close to 14-15 categories of events and many participants basis their choice of age/gender event participation options.
What an Incredible journey! Kudos to Amit Shinde and other members of U8L organising commitee! You have inspired many others to create Tennis Leagues and that is something you should be proud off!
Keep up the good work that you all have strated! All the best and may U8L reach even greater heights!

Welll organised tournaments for all age groups. U8L has brought amateur players in one roof to develop their tennis skill..

U8L has done wonders in promoting tennis for beginners , amateurs and people aspiring to take their level beyond these, it gave me a platform to show where i stand amd where i can improve,combined with providing a competetivr atmosphere, i started playing at a low level and U8L has helped me take my game to another notch ! What Amit and the U8L team have managed to achieve is nothing short of phenomenal in my opinion. Being a newcomer to India, I was looking for somewhere to play competitive amateur tennis and was so glad to have met Amit and joined U8L. With regular tournaments across a number of different categories, U8L has helped me massively improve my tennis match play. The competitions are well run and organised, and Amit and his staff are a hugely encouraging and welcoming group. In addition, I have met a number of like minded tennis players and now feel part of the tennis community in India, all thanks to U8L. I cannot speak highly enough of the organisation.

This tournament helped me motivate myself to improve my game and win more and more the team is excellent they are really helpful and the facilities are excellent

Like the game of tennis, where rules are same for all… U8L has been fair since I know it and their new formats are only making it fairer… Ashutosh is an amazing host and makes the event lively and fair… Amit is an inspiration, his game and mental acumen of the game speak through the victories he gathers at any event… I have met Rehan only once but I’m sure he is the quiet but main man behind the scenes… Overall a great team, giving all players an equal opportunity to hone, polish and practice their skills… U8L… First club for life…

U8L is by far the best tournament organized not just in Mumbai but also within India and this is not an exaggeration.
U8L bridges the gap between recreational and professional tennis. Singles, Doubles, Adults, Kids, Men and Women. U8L has a tournament for everyone.
There’s snacks for all participants and more importantly everyone is welcomed with a warm smile.
Finally, rhe quality of tennis is excellent. Do come and watch on a Sunday evening even if you don’t play!

Started playing U8L consistently since 2021. The tournaments are organized and well planned so that players can plan in advance. My own level has game has improved consistently since playing these tournaments. I have been the part of this tournament since its early days and lemme tell you that every time I have been part of this event it is filled with thrill , excitement and an atmosphere of healthy competitiveness mingled with a fine tune of networking. The tournament went to great lengths to unite the tennis fraternity of Mumbai and adjoining areas under one roof .. Kudos to Amit for all his valiant effort to make this event a rocking success.

I started playing U8L last year Jan ..that too with Men’s Singles..first time in my life i was playing a tournament..i was the only woman participant who had registered in the 35plus mens singles (thks to my coach who pushed me to do so)..the warm welcome i got from Amit n all the other organisers n also the participants made me feel so relaxed tht not once it made me feel i was playing a men’s tournament…it’s definitely one the best organised.tournaments in Mumbai..my son too has started playing n he simply loves it..with the backdraw concept..it actually motivates u not to give up ..a big congratulations Amit, Ashutosh, Rehman n all otherbehind U8L .. wishing u all loads of success

My first tournament in the city was U8L and it motivated me more to play Tennis after winning in plate championship.
It is not go back in U8L, but come back.!
This is really amazing to keep playing in U8L tournaments.
Myself , my husband and my Son we all really enjoyed the tournaments.
Food is hygienic.

For a player who is not grinding to play professional tennis but has the skill and is looking for a platform to showcase it, the U8L group has really been up to the task of providing an excellent event taking care of everything needed, and much more. It was worth traveling across town for their tournaments. Hope to play one again soon!!

It had been very exciting time at U8L event last weekend, courtesy my friend n partner in doubles , Ricky Mehra with never lose hopes approach.

The tournament was very well organised by Amit with the support of Tuff team. very agile and pleasing personality. Though friendly with all players, he ensured that no court was idling during entire tournament, pushing every one hard with friendly yet authoritave tone to go strictly by schedule.

The format was new to most of us but enjoyed Robinhood opportunities to compete even after defeats in primary events which was something new and very interesting.

More admirable quality of Amit was even while he himself playing in some of the tough matches, he always kept an eye on happenings on other court to keep the court occupied and guided alll events to finish as per schedule.

My best wishes for all future tournaments of ultim8 and look forward to participate and enjoy competitive yet friend tennis.

U8L has been a path breaking initiative. For so many of us who have started tennis and who wanted an opportunity to test ourselves…U8L has been the platform like no other. It made it competitive and at the same time a fun event that can’t be missed! Great going!

Being a 54+ and having played in best of 3 full sets under hot sun during middle of working weeks in other tournaments this playing format was a welcome change and i thoroughly enjoyed .

Another interesting advantage of this format – even if one is grouped with higher ranked players you still get chance to play with another group and still put a respectable show .

Its a monthly tennis carnival spread over eight months with a seeding system to enable amateurs to improve their rankings and their game, win prizes and attain tennis glory.

U8L’s unique crisp match formats, action packed scheduling, eight month calendar, individual player profiles, meticulous detailing and above all the tireless efforts and unlimited passion by its founder which helps the league constantly evolve makes it a one of a kind league across the globe. It is said that certain players are sent from up stairs to regale the audienes.But their endeavour also is more often than not selfless ever. But this duo has developed a distnictive concept almost selflessly, the only selfish motive being that they ensure that they take home most of the trophies themselves leaving others empty handed. Hope Doc is not listening.

Jokes apart, these guys have developed a unique interface, where no one is a loser. Great ambience where relative strangers bond big time over the glorious game of tennis, backslapping each other like long lost chums.

Great initiative by Amit and Team and it was an awesome experience to eat, play and network with like minded ppls who love to play tennis. Small glitch for me was qualifying for next round and then being told that I haven’t qualified as I don’t have ranking. Amit was kind enuf to let me play in lucky loser howver this part needs to be redesigned and newcomers should be given chance to go ahead… Anyways hats off to Amit and Team for handling the event superbly over the 2 days and wish them all the best and hope we have more such events with proper set games in the future…

When your game gets tough U8L league gets you going. The League is very passionate about the sport on and of the court. At U8L u will breathe tennis bleed tennis and sleep tennis …for me it was a great exposure, It’s an awesome league to join as besides the game the buzz on the game days is so high ..u just can escape the adrenaline. These tournaments are not just matches, they are festivals instead. Selfless voluntarity, Unparalleled enthusiasm, knowing one another, a platform to test your skills and level, motivation to excel, joy and cheers, and above all plenty of tennis. Way to go!! The league is an initiative of its kind. If U8L wasn’t there, wouldn’t have known so many great folks. It brings a few hundred good players on a platform, sometimes you get to choose partnerships from and U8L doesn’t change for that!!

It’s a superb initiative and a great tennis tournament for Amateurs like us. It gives us an opportunity to compete against players from different clubs in Mumbai and in the process helps us to improve our game. Though it’s an awesome league, there is still a lot of scope for further improvements. Since its still in its infancy (2nd year only), we hope that it will improvise and enhance further. Cheers.

It was a tennis carnival for 2 days. I am amazed with the energy and passion shown by Amit and Team both organising and participating in the entire event.
